Dust Off your smartphone: The March w3w Navigational Scatter is Here!

Ready to put your navigation skills to the test? After the roaring success of our November event, Matt Davies and Jack Stewart are back at the helm to bring you another evening of precision, puzzling, and back-road discovery.

On Friday, 6th March, Blackpalfrey Motor Club of Kent invites you to a classic Navigational Scatter. We’re sticking with the popular what3words format that kept everyone on their toes last autumn—so if you enjoyed the November challenge, you know exactly the kind of fun you're in for!

The Details

  • When: Friday, 6th March.

  • Time: Arrive at 7:30 PM for a prompt 8:00 PM start.

  • Where: Starting and finishing at the Grove Ferry Inn. It’s the perfect spot for a post-rally debrief and a drink.

  • Essential Kit: You’ll need the OS Landranger Map 179 (Canterbury & East Kent).

  • The Prize: There are no awards for this one—just the pure, unadulterated glory of finding those points and the satisfaction of a route well-planned.

Why Join Us?

Scatter rallies are the heart of grassroots motorsport. Whether you’re a seasoned navigator or a newcomer looking to learn the ropes in a relaxed environment, this event is designed for you. It’s about the strategy of the plot, the rhythm of the drive, and the community of the club.

No pressure, no trophies—just you, your driver, and the winding lanes of East Kent.

The home of historic road events in the South East

The Blackpalfrey Motor Club was formed in 1965, by a group of rally enthusiasts, as an amalgamation of the Black Horse (a Public House) Car Club from Tunbridge Wells and the William Palfrey Limited (an engineering company) Car Club from Rochester.
